Kalalau
The Kalalau Valley is one of my favorite places on Earth. Growing up, I often camped in this valley and I have such an incredible respect and reverence for the magic it holds. There are so many ways you can experience its vast array of color: from hiking down the coast with its various lookouts and vantage points, to sailing the shore line, or the birds-eye view you are treated to when flying above it. This photograph was captured from the clifftop above the valley on a misty day as sunset painted the sky.
